World Café
The World Café strategy encourages dialogue and the sharing of knowledge in groups of all sizes. Students move around the room to learn about different topics with selected hosts who are masters of their topic.
Steps:
1.) Organize students into groups of about four students each and assign one student in each group to be the host.
2.) Assign specific questions or topics to each table host.
3.) As the table group discusses the topic, the host will take notes/sketches about the discussion.
4.) When the discussion time is up (10-15 minutes), the host will stay at the table while group members rotate to the next table.
5.) The hosts now explain/discus their topic with the new group of students.
